D&AD - Brand Union : Our World Branding

Brief
Create the global brand name and identity for a radically new customer reward scheme.

Solution
The simplicity of this logo uses a contemporary style with a symbolic structure to create a fresh, inclusive and iconic identity for OUR loyalty scheme. The roundness of the O symbolises the world, whilst the bold stroke of the letter boarders a blank canvas.

YCN : Arsenal in the Community identity

Brief
Create a logo to celebrate the 25th anniversary which can then be adapted in subsequent years to remain as Arsenal in the Community’s ongoing identity.

Solution
This proposal places the existing Arsenal badge within the word community. The use of gold is to represent outstanding achievement by individuals and teams together. This is also shown in the individual solid lettering and joined outlines. 25 Years has been fitted on top to show 25 years within the community.

ISTD : Type Factory Branding

Brief
Design a visual identity and range of promotional materials for a new Museum that is dedicated to type.

Solution
This simple proposal uses bold type to clearly communicate the title of the museum. Helvetica was chosen for the main type-face because it is one of the most recognisable fonts in the world. The blocked structure of Helvetica also allows it to sit perfectly in a square. The logo also gives way to allow ‘Factory’ to be displayed in ITC Avant Garde Gothic. The simple purpose of this logo structure is in its application. The identity of the brand reflects the purpose of type, being a source of information that adapts to its surroundings to communicate to different target groups.

Lava PR DVD cover and disc design

DVD cover and disc design for the 2 year anniversary DVD of Lava PR.

Speakers Corner Identity

Brief
Create an identity for Speakers Corner, which is an event in Nottingham where the public come to speak their mind on anything they wish.

Solution
This proposal is a simple interpretation of Speakers Corner. The use of colour for "Speakers" represents the colourful side of the event. The use of the 'C' as a speech bubble is to show the "speakers" speaking and then link in to the next word "Corner".

Fusion : Broadband Solution Provider Identity

Brief
Create an identity for Fusion, a broadband solution provider company.

Solution
This proposal blends dynamic typography with fast, flowing lines that come together to form the letter ‘I’. The merging lines graphically suggest fusion, whilst the idea of them coming together stand for ‘one solution’.
You will notice throughout the presentation that the lines of the logo extend and lead you to further information - for example, onto the reverse of stationery. It’s this movement that makes the solution so apt and relevant to your service.
