Design a visual identity and range of promotional materials for a new Museum that is dedicated to type.
Solution
This simple proposal uses bold type to clearly communicate the title of the museum. Helvetica was chosen for the main type-face because it is one of the most recognisable fonts in the world. The blocked structure of Helvetica also allows it to sit perfectly in a square. The logo also gives way to allow ‘Factory’ to be displayed in ITC Avant Garde Gothic. The simple purpose of this logo structure is in its application. The identity of the brand reflects the purpose of type, being a source of information that adapts to its surroundings to communicate to different target groups.
